What is Contrast Therapy?

Also known as hot-cold therapy, contrast therapy works by cycling the body between intense heat and cold exposure. This controlled contrast stimulates circulation, reduces inflammation, and activates your nervous system leaving you feeling rejuvenated, calm, and clear-headed.

Whether you're an athlete seeking muscle recovery or a wellness enthusiast looking to reduce stress and boost immunity, contrast therapy offers benefits for both body and mind.

How It Works

The Nova Contrast Cycle

Never tried it before? Don’t worry, we make it simple. Here's what a typical session looks like:

A small indoor wooden sauna with glass doors, red lighting inside, a towel and a headrest on the bench, and a wooden floor mat outside.

HEAT - 9 MINUTES

Unwind in our full-spectrum infrared sauna as your body heats up and your muscles begin to relax.

A shirtless man wearing a black beanie and large black headphones smiling indoors, with a blue screen in the background and steam rising from the ground, viewed through a foggy window or mirror.

COLD - 3 MINUTES

Take the plunge into a pristine, 46-degree cold bath. It's brisk, but deeply refreshing ,and incredibly good for you.

An older woman sits in a recliner, wrapped in a white blanket. She has short gray hair and is wearing a white shirt with red stripes. There is a large green plant behind her and a window with closed blinds to her left.

REST - 3 MINUTES

Relax and breathe. This rest period allows your body to reset and find balance between cycles.

Complete 3 cycles for the deepest therapeutic effect. The session is a total of 45 minutes, completely private to you.
